About me
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience working and teaching in geography and GIS. She has worked in natural resources, utilities, land development/engineering, education, and public health. This has included contract work with the USGS, USAF, and the State of Nebraska. In her position with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services she built and expanded the spatial data collection offered by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. This data and a collection of GIS applications can be found at NebraskaMap.gov. Jennifer accepted a position with the City of Grand Island, Nebraska in the Public Works department this summer.
Jennifer is the Interim Chapters Chair for Women in GIS and facilitates the Public Sector Community of Practice and Crafts & Chat networking events. She would love to chat more with folks who have asset management experience in Cartegraph/OpenGov.
