About me
Christian T. Hartnett is the Director of Practice Technology at SWCA Environmental Consultants. He began working with GIS during his undergraduate studies in archaeology at the University of Texas at Austin. He went on to earn a Master's of Science in GIS and Spatial Analysis in Archaeology from the University College London. After working as an archaeologist in the environmental consulting industry for a decade, he moved full-time to managing GIS teams. Christian obtained his GISP in 2015 and is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) and certified Part 107 Drone pilot. He is also an adjunct assistant professor of GIS at Austin Community College and received his Master's of Business Administration from Louisiana State University, Shreveport in 2020.
