Christopher Corbitt is a 34-year law enforcement veteran who retired from the Tallahassee (FL) Police Department at the rank of Sergeant after more than 30 years of service. After serving in various uniform and investigative positions, his last 21 years at TPD focused on law enforcement technology, where he supervised the Department's Technical Operations Unit. He now serves as an Investigator and Chief of Technical Operations for the State Attorney's Office, 2nd Judicial Circuit of Florida. He has received numerous awards and recognitions during his career including the Commanders' and Chiefs' award, Meritorious Service, Unit Citations, Productivity, and Disaster Response. He was inducted into the Tallahassee Community College Heroes in Public Safety Hall of Fame in 2021. He has nearly two thousand hours of technical training with most focused on cellular and mobile device technology. He provides training nationwide to law enforcement officers, analysts and attorneys on subjects including cellular records analysis, location mapping, tracking and communication intercepts. He has testified as an expert witness in the area of communication record analysis in over 130 legal proceedings.
